Taupale F. Lemusu-Wolfenberger, beloved wife, sister, and aunt returned home to her Heavenly Father on April 29, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on October 25, 1962, in Aoloau, American Samoa, to Fa’asese Alofaga Lemusu and Laila Hisatake Fa’asese, her life was marked by resilience, service, and enduring love for family.
Raised in a large and loving family, Taupale shared a close bond with her siblings:
Sisters, Minareta Moananu, Fa’afofoga Mata’u, Laila Pasitalia Afalava (Fiasili Afalava), Diana Ioane (Liuneta Ioane).
Brothers: Alofaga Lemusu, Halle Lemusu (Eucharist Lemusu), Fa’asese Lemusu (Fa’aana Lemusu), Wesley Lemusu (Fili Lemusu).
Taupale married her beloved Willie Wolfenberger on her 41st birthday, October 25, 2003. Their marriage began a new chapter of companionship and happiness. For 23 years, they made a home in Columbus, Ohio filled with love, laughter, and respect. Although they did not have children, Taupale’s caring nature showed before marriage. She helped raise her nephews and nieces, becoming like a second mother and remaining an important part of their lives.
Taupale graduated from Leone High School in 1980 and started working immediately to support her family. She held numerous jobs before working at Big Lots Inc. for 24 years. When Big Lots closed in 2024, she began a new chapter at Torrid Clothing Warehouse marking a new journey for her and the love of her life, Willie Wolfenberger, whom she loved with all her heart.
Funeral services will be on May 22, 2026, with a family viewing from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by a service from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Jerry Spears Funeral Home, 2693 W Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43204 followed by burial at 2:30 p.m. at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W Broad St, Galloway, OH 43119.
