John Barnes Jr

John O. Barnes Jr., age 72, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at Columbus West Park. He was employed for many years in various work, mostly factory and forklift. John loved crossword puzzles, reading, coloring and was a huge fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. He liked to lived life with a very simple motto...never give up and never back down. He will be missed.  Preceded in death by, parents, John Sr and Virginia. Survived by, children, Jason Barnes, Michael Barnes, Shane Barnes and Heaven Yerian, grandchildren, Michael Jr., Nathan, Katie, Lexi, Nico, Dom, Myra, Adelynn, Addison, Adam, Shane Jr., and Jacklynn, great granddaughter, Eliza, brother, Richard "Terry" Keffer, numerous other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Tuesday, September 1, 2026 from 11 AM - 1 PM where service will follow at 1 PM. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
