Carol Hoffman

Hoffman, Carol Louise, age 86 of Hilliard, Ohio peacefully passed away on May 5, 2026. She was born on July 28, 1939 in Ashland, Ohio graduated from Ashland High School class of 1957 and went on to graduate from The Ohio State University where she was the president of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She taught Home Economics in Hilliard City Schools before becoming a full-time florist and owner of Hoffman’s Greenhouse and Farm Market. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer N. and Freda M. (Schuck) Boyer and husband, Roy L. Hoffman. She is survived by her three sons, David (Teresa) Hoffman of Galloway, Gary (Dina) Hoffman of London, and Michael (Jaime) Hoffman of Hilliard; brother-in-law, Larry (Judy) Hoffman of Hilliard; sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Hoffman of Hilliard; 6 grandchildren, Robert (Amelia) Hoffman, Garrett Hoffman, Andrew Hoffman, Alyssa Hoffman, Eli Hoffman and Mollie Hoffman; two great-grandchildren, nieces, Kim (Mike) Kurbanick and Julie Hoffman and honorary nieces Joyce Durban and Debbie Clouse and many dear friends.

There will be a graveside service at Alton Cemetery in Prairie Township on Wednesday, May 20th at 1pm and there will be a Celebration of Life held on Wednesday, May 20th, 3pm-6pm at the Brown Township Hall, Dever Building, 495 Walker Road, Hilliard, Ohio 43026.
