Amy Davis

Amy Marie Davis, age 47, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, after a long battle with cancer.  Amy was a longtime and faithful member of Guide Church Hilliard, serving as a youth leader. She was a 1997 graduate of Westland High School. She was employed with Gallagher Bassett in the workers compensation division. One of her hobbies was selling bomb party jewelry and she always loved going to her happy place, the beach. She will be missed. Preceded in death by, paternal grandparents, George (Sandy) Lauer and Jean (Ronald) Kleinke, maternal grandmother, Wanda Long, paternal step grandfather, Larry Barnhart. Survived by, husband, Kristopher,  children, Brendan (Sara) Davis and Hayden Davis, mother, Cheryl (Scott) Herbert, father, George (Tammy) Lauer, sisters, Heidi (Scott) Westerman and Tara (Mike) Frank, brothers, Steve (Stacey) Lauer and Brian (Christy Lane) Rutherford, mother in law, Joan Jones, nieces and nephews, Luke, Parker, Logan, Madelyn, Katelyn and Grace, maternal grandfather, Joel Long, paternal step grandmother, Charlene Barnhart, beloved pets, Lando, Winnie and Jax , numerous other family and friends.  Friends may call at Guide Church, 4770 Britton Parkway, Hilliard, OH, 43026, on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 8:30 AM - 10 AM where service will follow at 10 AM.
