Lisa L. Bettis, age 51, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Mt Carmel West. She was an active volunteer at Starling Elementary School, K-8. Preceded in death by: Father: David C. Castle. Brother: David A. Castle. Maternal grandparents: Inez and Bob Mayes. Survived by: Husband: James Bettis. Children: Tiffney (James) Ryan, Teya Whiting and Kayla (Daniel) Bettis. Mother: Lucy (Steve) Buckler. Grandchildren: Jimmy Ryan, Tyler Ryan, Courtney Whiting and Joshua Ryan. Numerous other family and friends. Friends may call at Jerry Spears Funeral Home, 2693 W. Broad St., Tuesday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM where service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday. Pastor Jeff Julien officiating. Interment Concord Cemetery.
